Frequently asked questions.

What is Lunacanto?

Lunacanto is a Yakima, Washington service that creates personalized song dedications with AI assistance and a human finish. You share the story, words, and sound you want, and Ozzy hand-crafts a one-of-a-kind song for one person and one moment.

Lunacanto was founded in September 2026 by Osvaldo Rocha. Songs are made for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, apologies, milestones, and the days that simply deserve to be remembered.

How does Preview-Before-Pay work?

You send your brief and get a delivery estimate and tracking link first, then hear the full watermarked song before you pay anything. You only pay if you love it, to unlock the clean, watermark-free final.

The steps are simple: send your brief, watch your song’s progress on your tracking link, hear the full watermarked preview by email, and pay through PayPal only when you love it.

How do I place an order?

Complete the creative brief on lunacanto.com and choose “Send song request.” Once your order is confirmed on screen, you will get a tracking link and delivery estimate, then your watermarked preview by email.

After you love the preview, finish payment through the provided PayPal checkout link to unlock the clean final.

How much does a custom song cost?

A first song is $20; a returning customer’s song is $45. Two songs with the ongoing BOGO 50% off special total $67.50.

Rush delivery adds 50% of your song’s price and confirms your preview within 24 hours.

How does the first-time offer work?

Select “This is my first order” in the request builder. The first-time customer price is $20; the regular custom song price is $45.

Is the BOGO 50% special limited-time?

No. Buy one custom song for $45 and get a second for $22.50, for a $67.50 total. It is Lunacanto’s ongoing, everyday special — not a countdown or temporary promotion.

Two distinct stories. Two custom songs. One permanent special.

How long does a custom song take?

Your completed song will be delivered by your confirmed delivery estimate, which you receive right after ordering.

Your tracking link shows your song’s progress from order to final delivery.

Can I get my preview faster?

Yes — choose Rush delivery on the order form and your preview lands within 24 hours, for an extra 50% of your song’s price. If we ever miss that 24-hour window, the rush fee is refunded in full.

What can the song be about?

A person, memory, celebration, relationship, apology, milestone, or any story you want to turn into a dedication. The request builder gives you room to explain the idea in your own words.

Can I include my own lyrics?

Yes. Add exact words, names, or phrases in the lyric notes. You can also leave that field blank and focus on describing the story and feeling.

What do I receive, and how is it delivered?

Your finished song is delivered as an MP3 by email or a private download link. You first receive the full watermarked preview; after payment, you receive the clean, watermark-free final.

A personal-use license is included with every song.

Can I request changes? What is the refund policy?

Yes — hear the full watermarked preview and request any changes before payment. You can cancel before production begins for a full refund. No refunds are available after delivery.

What is included in personal vs. commercial use?

Personal use is included with every song for private listening, gifts, and personal social posts. If you need the song for ads, monetized content, in-store play, company events, or another business use, request a commercial license in the order builder. We’ll follow up with details and a custom quote based on your account type.

How is my payment handled?

Payment is completed on PayPal’s checkout. Lunacanto does not see or store your card number or other full payment credentials.

Are the songs original? How are they made?

Songs are created with generative AI, guided by the story, lyric direction, mood, and genre in your brief, and finished with a human touch. Every order is an original composition. We do not reproduce copyrighted lyrics or imitate the voice of any real artist.

What if I need to ask about timing or a special request?

Email operations@lunacanto.com before ordering to confirm the details.
